  3. Hi Angel, thanks for your compliments!

Hi baby feng, sorry we haven't been checking this blog regularly. On the whole, we find the service from Vivi very good. They are on the ball and updated us when photos are ready etc. The photoshoot team is also fun and we enjoyed ourselves very much!

One thing about Taiwanese photoshoot is that their album layout is not as modern as what we see in Singapore. Their style has a lot of heart shape patterns, bubble etc, which we find a bit too taiwanese. Hence, we spent a lot of time communicating with them the simple layout we prefer. They have been accommodative to our requests.

Another plus point in doing shoot in Taiwan is that we could add photos at about 1/3 the cost of that in Singapore. They also offered us brand new made-to-measure gowns at about S$1000.

Hope you find the information useful.

  6. Hi 臻心与昀情,

Wow! You really booked way in advance! Our day started at 8am, make-up + dress-up took about 2 hours. Photoshoot started at about 10am and ended at 10pm.

We went to the places as shown above with the pictures:
    1) 梦湖
    2) 幸福石门 near 淡水
    3) Olive Restaurant (奥莉薇 餐厅, but not sure if it's the correct chinese characters)
    4) 淡水seaside
    5) Miramar (美丽华)

In fact the bridal shop has a book of places you can go to, but due to the limited time, typically you can only choose places that are placed closer to each other to avoid excessive travelling.

The bridal package largely provide 6 sets of gowns, 2 suits (without vest), white shoes for groom, album, balloons, flowers, first set of make-up.

These things typically require additional cost -- car + driver (~TWD3000), following make-up artiste(~TWD6400), ampoule, vest for groom (~TWD1500), additional props like horse (~TW3000), boat at 梦湖, Olive Restaurant....

  8. Hi Summer Gal,

My experience with Vivi was pretty good. We enjoyed the shoot and they are obliging to our requests to change layout for the albums. However, that was made easier because I had the benefit of travelling to Taiwan frequently for work, hence easier to communicate with them. My concern with their layout is that Taiwanese tend to have pretty fanciful bubbles, filmstrips, leaves, hearts etc but in Singapore, we typically appreciate albums that are simple -- with overlay of picture backgrounds, simple lines and boxes to create a more stylish look. Glad in the end, they were able to do that for us.

To add on to the list of items I put in my previous post, the package also includes album (finishing depends on how much you pay), 20" x 30" canvas mounted photo with frame, 60" poster (which looks great at the event venue), 100 thank you card size photos (which honestly has little use in Singapore), CD of selected photos, 8" photo + table top photo frame, autograph scroll, palm-size photo album (娘家本).

  9. Hi Hanabi.Boom

    Thanks :)

  10. Hi misshappiness18,

We agreed with Vivi bride that we will not disclose the price, but I could give some indicative levels -- the basic package (basic finishing for album, 45 photos)cost us less than S$2k in early 2010.

    Hope this helps.
